INFAUST rose from the ashes of HYPOCRITICAL SOCIETY. With
the help of guitar, bass, drums, chain-smoking vocals and a sampler they
managed to create the background music for the armageddon. They don´t
deny their influences, ranging from english industrial hardcore (GODFLESH
/ PITSHIFTER) to later AMEBIX and mid-time NEUROSIS. Their German lyrics
are unfriendly ("Arschgeburt"), abstract ("Muster")
and mostly work up their personal post-industrial depressions. INFAUST
are currently working on new material that is going to be released soon
on a 12".
7" split single with CORRUPTED (japan) was released by blind date
records.
The 1999-2004 12" was released in 2004 and offers apocalyptic
and dark metallic hardcore. A corpse´s cry for revenge.
