1. Hello Audio Kollaps! How mood for answers?
Björn: Always good.
2. What reason of occurrence of your group. Whether the group helps you to reach any purposes. Whether you pursue any purposes, playing extreme music. How you have chosen the name for collective?
Björn: We formed in 1998 after our former band Recharge split up. Itīs 3 people of Recharge (Jens on guitar, Andreas K. on bass and me on drums) and a singer called Kai. Our purpose is to play extreme music with uncompromising and non-standard lyrics that donīt dictate but forces the listeners to think for themselves. We wanted to play more extreme music than Recharge because the world has gone tougher. This is also for the meaning of the band name.

3. You agree, that political apathy, inactivity, indifference of people results in development totalitarian, nazi moods in a society?
Björn: I think one canīt generalize it since having a good time at a gig or at a party without being political is nothing to be ashamed of. In my opinion some people take it too far with politics; one should first look into the own mind to see if everything is alright. In the end, everyone just wants to lead a good life, so sometimes one should not worry too much about bad things that are going on, one canīt change most of it anyway.
4. There are the groups singing about any nonsense, nothing presenting public. About what your texts, whether it is a lot of attention you give texts. Whether styles of texts vary depending on the one who composes them. In general that it is more important texts or music?
Björn: I think lyrics are as important as music, although sometimes itīs hard to understand them because of the brutal music. We try to sing about personal matters, and sure there is politics involved sometimes, mostly in a negative way to keep the listener thinking. Most lyrics are written by Kai and me, and there is also a different way we write the lyrics. In the end, itīs surely important that they fit to the song concerned.
5. What in your understanding should be the political punk? Whether it is a lot of in Germany political groups or groups limited by political slogans?
Björn: It seems to me that recently there are too many groups that are just limited to political slogans. They do what the other people of the group wants them to think, itīs like a group pressure. Punk at the beginning was not limited to just one political statement or opinion, and people should be aware of it.

6. Now a lot of various music, someone does it sincerely, others no. You listen a lot of various music or like the certain styles and groups more?
Björn: I listen to all kinds of punk music: From 77 punk to oi! to hardcore up to grindcore. Why limit yourselve?
Andreas K.: I listen to everything, Van Rebroff, you know him?
7. Than all members of group except for music are engaged. Whether you participate in public work, the organizations. Whether earn to itself for a life. Whether the grant allows on to unemployment: to be more free, to develop itself, to be engaged in liked affairs?
Björn: I have 2 jobs at the moment, working my ass off sometimes up to 14 hours a day. Thatīs life! I also write for a fanzine and do a punk radio show.
Andreas K.: First mass employment, then nazi shit.
8. Whether you go on any a rave parties or in your city is alternative the centers, clubs, squat for carrying out of concerts, parties? Alcohol, marihuana?
Björn: We have some alternative punk clubs in town where the alcohol is cheap. I prefer to get drunk at parties and dance to ska and oi! music. No other drugs than alcohol.
Andreas K.: No money to go out at night.
9. Whether played concerts in other countries much. Whether there is an opportunity to visit the country ex-USSR. Heard something about Byelorussia?
Andreas K.: We donīt play much. I have been in Holland and CSSR.
Björn: No holiday left.
10. That it is more interesting to you to read: volumetric zines, magazines which do groups of people, or individual zines? Can books
Björn: Not much time to read. I want to read the new novel by Umberto Eco in the near future.
Andreas K.: I only read Lovecraft and the Daily News.
11. What age start of musicians, public on your stage. Certainly, the age has no value, but it seems to me, that more adult people do more than useful things for development of a stage. Their activity not time rebelliousness, a fashion, is their natural life?
Björn: Most people are very energetic and political at a younger age. I will turn forty in one year, but I still go to gigs and play in bands. But I turned a bit more quiet recently, I think itīs the age.
Andreas K.: Your energy is on the top when youīre young I think.
12. Who is engaged in registration of your covers. In fact the cover too has the some Value, passes mood of group or something another?
Andreas K.: HET!

Kai: I think it looks for answers, if there is a good question. I canīt say what I pursue by this music, sometimes on the stage I think you change minds for a better way to life with some texts but sometimes I think there is nothing behind the head in the brain. Many people think if I hear crust or DIY Punk I am a better one but there are ofte only stickers on the jacket. Nobody is perfect but the slogan No Gods No Masters is sometimes a phrase. And there are so many people they only like you if you play in band. But what is a band everybody can make music. I think political Punk is a threat against but it is move together famouse in the time of repression and 2nd and 3rd citizens classes. But there is no praxis only with the Conflict sticker on yer back (I like Conflict). And way you walk musnīt be only hard I like to go to partys, we have five or six clubs like old squats they now legal, there are concerts or partys, by the you can go there for food, information or organitation. But for the most time are these rooms for partys and sometimes I must only puke cos there is nothing more. Some years ago it was another flair of radikal feelings. Now everything is legal and fighting why? Four years ago I was Byelorussia and the movement of Punk and Antifashism it was very respectful for me. O.K. there some Vodkapunks too, but the way the people walk is so much harder then in fucking germany. These people have problems and they must have our solidarity but everything is nice and colored here and we forget our sisters and brothers and make party.
